Electric Vehicles

Electric Vehicles continue to grow in popularity for many reasons. New technology allows them to travel further per charge, EV purchase prices are now comparable to many non-electric vehicles, EVs cost less to maintain than their standard gas engine rival and new owners may be eligible for federal tax credits. Generation Types

By 2024, Hoosier Energy projects to supply its electric cooperative member-consumers with at least 15-20% of their energy from renewable sources.
